How it works

From launch to Raydium in four steps.

  1. 1

    Launch

Anyone can launch a coin with a name, ticker and picture. Every coin has the same fixed supply of 1 billion and no presale.

  2. 2

    Trade on the curve

The price follows a bonding curve: it rises as people buy and falls as they sell. You always trade against the curve, so there is always a price.

  3. 3

    Graduate

When the curve sells out, the coin graduates: its SOL and remaining tokens move into a Raydium pool and the pool's LP tokens are burned.

  4. 4

    Keep trading

Graduated coins trade on Raydium, right from the coin's page on hypehive.

FAQ

What does it cost?+

Each buy and sell on the curve pays a … platform fee and a … rewards fee. Launching costs … plus about 0.02 SOL of network rent. After graduation, Raydium's pool fee applies instead.

Where does the rewards fee go?+

The creator picks at launch, and it can never change: either the creator claims it, or it's paid out to everyone holding the coin. More on rewards.

What is buyback & burn?+

A share of the platform fee (10% by default) goes into a jar for that coin. When the jar fills up, it buys the coin and burns what it bought, for good. See every burn.

Can a creator change the coin or mint more?+

No. The supply is fixed, there is no mint or freeze authority, and the name, ticker and picture are locked at launch.

What is a token lock?+

A creator can lock their own tokens for a set time. Locked tokens can't be sold until the lock ends, and anyone can see the lock on the coin's page.

How do referrals work?+

Share your referral link. When people trade through it, you earn a share of the platform fee and claim it on the Referrals page.

Why does my wallet ask me to approve?+

Every trade, launch and claim is a transaction your wallet must approve. hypehive never holds your funds and will never ask for your seed phrase.

Is it safe?+

Memecoins are very risky and most go to zero. Only trade what you can afford to lose. Read the risks.
